How companies measure social media

social media globeA recent survey highlighted a few interested findings about how companies measure the results of their activities in social media:

  • Almost 90 percent of companies only measure social media in terms of likes and followers.
  • The biggest obstacle to measure social media is lack of time.

Since only 5 percent of the researched companies are highly satisfied with their social media activities there has to be some room for improvement with regards to targets and follow up. Just a thought…
